Appetizers include mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, T-rexadillas, chicken wings, flatbread, nachos and more. The menu includes appetizers, soups and salads, entrees, and desserts. TREX RESTAURANT CRACK
You will see the meteor across the ceiling and down the wall and hear the loud crack of explosions. It makes this area even more fun! Entertainmentīe prepared for more entertainment in this area as a meteor shower strikes about every 20 minutes at T Rex Cafe. When the meteor shower strikes, the Ice Cave glows red and orange. You will also see wooly mammoth animatronics that look lifelike.
TREX RESTAURANT FULL SIZE
You will see a huge full size dinosaur in bones that covers one section of the cave wall. The entire area is in a white icy cave that glows. This section will give you an instant chill. My favorite section of the restaurant is the Ice Cave. In the Geotech area, you will see the huge fire pit called the Kitchen of Fire and the volcano. You will also be surrounded by luminescent jellyfish hanging from the ceiling and fish aquariums. They can also pan for treasures and get a little wet in the Discovery Creek. The kids turn into paleontologists as they hunt for dinosaur bones and fossils. This covered area next to the Dino-Store will keep the kids happy and busy, while you wait for your table.
Discovery Digįor the more active kids, take them outside to the Discovery Dig. While you wait for the host/hostess to call you for your table, you can even take the kids to the Paleo Zone, where they can learn in this educational area about the past. My kids love building a dinosaur at this workshop. If you love the Build-A-Bear Workshop, you will enjoy this same experience, but with dinosaurs. Build-A-Dino & Merchandise ShopĪt the back of the merchandise shop is Build-A-Dino. You can shop for your favorite dinosaur attire, rocks, toys, and souvenirs at the gift shop. The T Rex Cafe at Disney Springs is more than just a restaurant.
Disney Springs as a general area is highly accessible as nearly all, if not all, of the area is step-free, so wheelchair users can also relax in Disney Springs without hassle after dining at T-Rex Cafe. The garages are very accessible, with 8-10 accessible parking spaces and elevators to get to the ground floor. It is important to note that the restaurant is located in the Disney Springs shopping/entertainment complex, so parking is not available right outside the restaurant, but in the Disney Springs parking garages. The restaurant serves American cuisine in a casual, yet highly immersive setting, complete with animatronic dinosaurs. There are stools directly at the bar, but tables are in the immediate area, none of which are high top tables. The bar area is also very accessible, with wide clearance. The middle section has a bigger gap between tables, but the section on the right (the fire-themed section) has the widest clearance and would be most comfortable.
The restaurant is divided into 3 sections, with the one on the left having pretty tight clearance between tables. It has a fun, casual, interactive atmosphere and is located right in the middle of a bigger entertainment/shopping complex called Disney Springs. The headliner dessert is a giant chocolate cake for 4 and runs for about $20.00, but there are cheaper options, such as donuts. The restaurant serves American cuisine, ranging from pasta to seafood to burgers, and even ribs! The price is on the higher side, with appetizers being roughly between $10.00 to $15.00 and most entrees starting between $18.00 and $20.00. T-Rex Cafe is an immersive dining experience, putting you right next to animatronic dinosaurs, where “meteor showers” happen every 20 minutes.
